QCA Systems delivered comprehensive engineering, automation, and operational solutions for the Teck Allison Coal Expansion project in North Vancouver. Our scope included overall IC engineering, operational philosophy development, programming and commissioning of site control and information systems, and integration of multiple major equipment upgrades.

Key contributions included:

• EIC engineering and supply for the Dumper/Indexer and new ship loader – Takraf Tenova
• IC engineering, programming, and commissioning for the existing Dumper replacement and Indexer 2 replacement – Heyl & Patterson
• Integration of a new Stacker Reclaimer – EMS Tech
• Conveyor capacity upgrade integration – Neptune/Teck/Fluor
• Advanced scanning and collision avoidance systems
• Ongoing maintenance services and 24/7 support

The project achieved rapid ramp-up, reaching 80% of the target 8,000 TPH in just 2 weeks and 100% in approximately 3 weeks, demonstrating QCA’s expertise in delivering high-performance, reliable solutions on a tight schedule.
