QCA Systems delivered comprehensive IC engineering and automation solutions across multiple facilities for the Core Area Wastewater Program, including McLoughlin WWTP, Macauley & Clover Point PS, and Hartland Biosolids & conveyance systems. Our work spanned design and supply of all automation, power, and information systems, programming and commissioning of site control and information systems, and ongoing maintenance and 24/7 support.

Key contributions included:

• 30 HMI clients with 50+ screens, Historian, Asset Management, and Web/Mobile integration
• 18 Controllogix PLCs, 8 OPC connections, 10 database connections
• 60,000 process tags in HMI, 20,000 Historian tags
• Multiple separate contracts with Graham Construction, Western Pacific Enterprises, Bird Construction, and Emery

The project was commissioned during the first year of the COVID pandemic and was completed on-time and under budget, demonstrating QCA’s expertise and reliability in critical municipal infrastructure projects.
